PG&E Worker Botches Gas Line; Families Evacuated | News

Families were woken up by a knock on their door Saturday morning – by officials telling them to leave their homes.

It turns out PG&E crews caused a gas leak in their neighborhood.

It happened near the Figarden loop, on Pinsapo Street.                                                          

Officials say PG&E workers broke a one–inch natural gas line while they were working in the area.

Six families had to leave their homes while the leak was capped.

They were able to go back about an hour later.

No one was hurt.
